The summer after schools
coaching clubs are beginning to take shape, 8 north
Lowestoft primary schools will benefit from the hour
long clubs between April and June 2008.
Those schools taking part are Roman Hill
Primary, Woods Loke, Oulton Broad Primary, Gunton
Primary, Northfield St. Nicholas, Poplars Primary, St.
Margaret's Primary and Corton Primary schools. Boys and
girls from years 1 and 2 will take advantage of the
first two weeks coaching followed by pupils from years 3
and 4. |

Club coaches Stuart Halsey and James
Hunton guided Waveney Girls to yet another tournament
victory which helped Waveney to clinch the Suffolk Youth
Games title at Ipswich on the 6th July with a penalty
shoot-out victory in the final.
This was the third time the Waveney
girls had won the tournament with the squad made up of
girls in years 5 & 6. |
The
Club was invited to provide coaches for a 'Showcase
Day' for Disability Sport at the Waveney Sports Centre,
Water lane on Saturday September 22nd.
The showcase
was being
organised by
Optua who are giving anyone with a physical, sensory
or learning disability the opportunity to try sports
which are included in the paralympic games such as
Archery, Judo, Powerlifting and boccia amongst many
others.

The Little Lions Club is
for the very youngest of our footballers. The Club is
run by The
Childrens Centre (Formally Sure Start), The Little
Lions Club is aimed at 3yr to 5yr olds and teaches the
boys and girls basic motor skills through football fun
and games.
Parents are encouraged to
join in and enjoy more interaction with their child.
The Club is held at
Barnards Meadow, Lowestoft durng the Saturday Football
Club from 10am - 11am and costs £1.
Places are strictly limited
and must be pre-booked as the Club is often over

The
Club are looking to build on last seasons success and
are currently improving or adding to last years squads
with new teams being formed at different age groups.
NEW!!
There are places
available in next seasons Under 8 squads with the
Under 8A team (current school year 2) looking for a
player preferably with league experience.
Players are
also required to make up a new 4th team
NEW!!
A brand new Under 10
girls team is being formed, if you are in current school
years 3 or 4 and want to join the successful girls
section, then let us know.
