2008 Presentation Night

Over 1100 players, club officials, parents and supporters gathered together to celebrate the season at the Ocean rooms, Gorleston.

Anthony Ogogo being interviewed by Stewart LeeBeach Radio presenter Stewart Lee again compered the evening and introduced this years guest of honour, local boxer and celebrity big brother star, Anthony Ogogo, who came onto the stage to shrieks of delight from the audience. Anthony, who re-scheduled his training programme to attend the evening was briefly interviewed about his impressive boxing career and gave us an insight into life in the big brother house. In training for the National A.B.A.E. Middleweight final on Friday, Anthony spent 30 minutes signing autographs for the delighted youngsters at the end of the presentations.

A Charity auction was also held throughout the evening with a framed signed F. A. Vase Lowestoft Town shirt and 2 x V.I.P. hospitality tickets for the Vase Final kindly donated by Lowestoft Town F. C. which raised £260 for the Beach Radio's Help an East Coast Child. A raffle and a disco completed another tremendous evening to celebrate the Club's 30th year.
