Two Lucky
Waveney Youth F. C. players have won the
opportunity to become mascots at the F. A. Vase
final Between Lowestoft Town F.C. and Kirkham
and Wesham
 |
Congratulations to Phoebe (Girls U11B) &
Rhys (U10C) who were drawn out of the
hat to represent Waveney Youth F. C. as
mascots at the FA Vase Final on Sunday
11th May at Wembley Stadium.
They will be provided with a mascot kit
& also 2 top priced seats free for each
of their parents.Thanks to everyone who
entered & I am sure you will join me in
congratulating them.
You never know if you all keep working
on your football skills you may be
walking out at Wembley as a player one
day instead of a mascot & how cool would
that be!! |

9yrs - A fantastic season |
How
the season finished at a glance |

|
|
Congratulations to the Club's under 9 squad.
Three of the Club's five teams ended the season
as League Champions.
The 'Tigers' winning the 1st Division, the
'Pumas' winning the 2nd Division and the
'Sabre-Tooth's' taking top spot in the 3rd
Division. The 'Tigers' also have a Cup Final to
look forward to next Sunday.
The 'Bobcats' also had good season having been
the pacesetters during the early part of the
season they finished in 3rd place in the 3rd
Division while the 'Cougars' will be looking to
bounce back after a difficult season which will
see them in Division 2 next season.

The Club would also like to Congratulate
Lowestoft Town F.C. for winning their 2 leg
semi-final against
Whitley Bay on Saturday and making history
with a Wembley appearance in the final of the F.
A. Vase on Sunday May 11th.
With 5 players in the current first team squad
starting their football careers with Waveney
Youth F. C. as youngsters, we want to make it a
special weekend. Starting with the Club's
presentation night on Saturday then off to
Wembley on Sunday as we cheer the Blues on. The
newly formed
Social Club are putting on 5 coaches to the
final. Seats are being sold for £10 each with
tickets at £10 for Under 16's and £20 for
adults. They will be sold on a strictly first come first
served basis with payment required in advance.

The
Club is launching a brand new monthly draw. This
will give you the opportunity to win some top
cash prizes as well as helping to raise funds
for the new Social Club.
The draw will be made on the last Saturday of
the month with 50% of all subscriptions being
used as prizes and 50% going to the Social Club
to help put on events throughout the year.
The cost to enter is £5 per month which is
payable by monthly standing order or you can pay
an annual fee of £60.
based on 100 members the prizes will as follows:
1st prize 50% (£125)
2nd Prize 25% (£62.50)
3rd Prize 15% (£37.50)
4th Prize 10% (£25)

will be travelling to Wembley Stadium to cheer
on Lowestoft Town F. C.
