 A number of
managers and coaches from the Club took the opportunity to attend a Sportsman's
Dinner at the Ocean Rooms, Gorleston to
enjoy a meal and after dinner speech
from ex-Ipswich Town and England Manager Sir Bobby Robson. The
compere for the evening was Radio
Broadlands, Rob Chandler and he was joined
in the audience by other local sporting celebrities including boxers John Thaxton
and Danny Smith ex-Norwich City player and
now local football pundit, Neil Adams and rising star of Norwich City and
England Under 19 squad, Joe Lewis.Sir Bobby's last act, on what was a late night, was to kindly pose for a group photograph (above). Another player on the top table was Ipswich Town's all time favorite player as voted by the fans, Kevin Beattie, who was very popular with the audience and took time out for a group photo.
