2005 / 2006 Club Presentation Evening

Ocean Rooms, Gorleston


The Club's biggest ever presentation evening was attended by over 800 players, parents and supporters who saw a host of trophies and awards presented to players and managers of the club's 34 teams in recognition of their achievements this season.

The evening was again compered by Stuart Lee with the trophies presented by 'Beach Radio's' Chris Halford and New Pleasurewood Hills world famous character Woody Bear'. The evening was a multi media event, using the large screens to show a vast array of images and video with all the popular football anthems being played and with a patriotic look to the venue, warming up for the World Cup was very easy.

A lively auction with bids being made throughout the evening was held for an Ipswich Town F.C. signed shirt and football which raised £150 to be split between St. Margaret's Primary School and 'Help and East Coast Child appeal'.
 

 




The club's new mascot was also unveiled with 7yr old Danielle Murray winning the competition to name the 'Waveney Wild Cat' with the judging panel making the decision to name the mascot 'Roary'


The evening ended with a raffle and a disco in what was another tremendous evening.

Taco' played over 150 youth games for the Club from the age of 9 yrs and has earned himself a regular place in Ridgeons League Side Kirkley F.C.

Natasha has been a consistent high performer for the all conquering U' 11 girls team scoring 37 goals and recently represented Suffolk Girls U'11

Scott is manager of the  Sunday 1st team and steered them to their best league position for some time.

Stephan shows tremendous commitment enthusiasm and loyalty as girls development officer

Chris is a terrific club man, organising mini-soccer fixtures, coaching events and coaching at the PDC amongst many other duties. Lewis is always keen, never complains and always shows an excellent attitude at training and in matches
