From Lowestoft to
Southampton!!!!....
Well
not quite, but that was the combined number of miles run by over 200
children, parents and coaches from The Saturday Football Club 2000
as they joined the rest of the country to run the
Sport Relief mile.
The event was sponsored
for each runner to run 4 laps around the athletics track the equivalent of a
mile, at Barnards Meadow.
The run was started by former Ipswich Town F.C. youth player and current
Lowestoft Town F.C. goalkeeper, Andy Reynolds, who saw children from as
young as 4 years old and parents not quite so young file past him.
The event raised over £350 for the Charity with money still coming in.
