This years Brownie and Guide Festival of Football took place on April 21st at Barnards Meadow, this was the 6th year the event has been held and was sponsored by The Beach Radio's 'Help an East Coast Child' charity.
Around 150 girls took part in the sunshine as the two groups played a round robin competition. There were refreshments and side stalls to enjoy and Raw-Soccer  provided a skills area for the girls and supporters to enjoy.
After some exciting and very close games the winners of the Brownie event were 2nd Oulton who defeated 3rd Oulton on penalties and the guides tournament was won by 1st Oulton who triumphed over 1st Carlton Colville.
