2008 Presentation Night
Ocean Rooms, Gorleston

Over 1100 players, club officials, parents and
supporters gathered
together to celebrate the
season at the Ocean rooms, Gorleston.

Beach Radio
presenter Stewart Lee again compered the evening
and introduced this years guest of honour, local
boxer and celebrity big brother star, Anthony
Ogogo, who came onto the stage to shrieks of
delight from the audience. Anthony, who
re-scheduled his training programme to attend
the evening was briefly interviewed about his
impressive boxing career and gave us an insight
into life in the big brother house. In training
for the National A.B.A.E. Middleweight final on
Friday, Anthony spent 30 minutes signing
autographs for the delighted youngsters at the
end of the presentations.
A Charity auction was also held throughout the
evening with a framed signed F. A. Vase
Lowestoft Town shirt and 2 x V.I.P. hospitality
tickets for the Vase Final kindly donated by
Lowestoft Town F. C. which raised £260 for the
Beach Radio's Help an East Coast Child. A raffle
and a disco completed another tremendous evening
to celebrate the Club's 30th year. |

| The Club awards are presented by the Club to reward the Club volunteers in recognition of the support they have given the Club during the previous 12 months. It also recognises specific achievements and to the Club's volunteers and for those who have put in that little bit extra |

Craig Sansom Craig is manager of the Under 9 Tigers and steered them to the League and cup double and reaching the semi-final of the Ipswich Open Cup |
Shaun Swan Shaun is committed to coaching and is seen coaching his own team, at The Saturday Football Club, After Schools clubs, Disabled and deaf children. |
Mark Knowles Mark has won the John High award by taking on the role of referees co-ordinator, taking a lot of work from the managers. |
Ross Meadows Ross is the player / manager of the Sunday 1st team and has played for the Club for 20 years notching up nearly 400 games |
Eliott Shilling Eliott has played all of his playing career with the Club since 2000 and has played 166 games and now joins the ranks of adult football |
Jack Davies Jack has been involved with the Club for some time and has now progressed into coaching, he is also a qualified referee and is always willing to help out at events |
Michael Cross Michael has been with the Club for 4 years and last season played for the under 9 Tigers. He has made such tremendous progress that he has been chosen for next seasons Norwich City's academy squad. |
