A Fantastic Achievement for the Club was recognised on Saturday 16th December 2006, with the Club being awarded BOTH fair play awards by Suffolk County F.A. for the most sporting teams during the 2005/2006 season.

The boys award was presented to the current Under 11 'A' team who scooped the award during their last season of mini-soccer which saw them finish as division 3 league runners-up as well as Shield runners-up. Manager Fred Murray said "The fair play award is the most important award the team has won and shows what a great bunch of boys they are."
The girls were dominant in the Suffolk Girls League and won both the League and Cup double while unbeaten in 17 games. Their manager Stephan Teicher said "The fair play award is a great achievement and proves that successful football can also be played in a fair and sporting manner".
Both teams are shown receiving their award, from Bill Steward who is the Suffolk County F.A. representative on the National game board, together with a cheque for each team of £200  during the halftime break during the Lowestoft Town F.C. home game against Histon reserves.
