This year was
the Club's 20th two day tournament which was marked with more entries than
ever before, making it arguably the regions largest pre-season
tournament. 135 teams took part with Club's represented from as far a field
as Stevenage Town, Maldon, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich and Wisbech who challenged the numerous local teams to pick up those prestigious
trophies.
As
well as the opportunity to watch the potential stars of the future, there
were a number of off field activities including Bouncy Castles, cross bar
challenge and a 'kick for goal' challenge with opportunities to win cash
prizes.
Coaches from the brand new
F.A. skills initiative sponsored by Tesco
were also on hand to put some of the youngsters through their paces.
A number of trade stands were also in evidence with a selection of cars from local dealer
Simpsons (Skoda)
to look around,

This year saw the second year of a special award, The 'Daniel Felstead
Memorial Award' which was donated by Daniels former team manager, Malcolm
Dixon and dedicated to the memory of Daniel who was a youth team player for
the Club who played the game with enthusiasm and commitment. The award was
presented to the Under 16's player of the final which this year went to
Daniel Bathgate from Waveney Youth F.C.
The Club would also like to thank all of this years sponsors who took
advantage of some excellent packages to promote their business as well as
supporting local grass roots football.
